Scuka’s Apple Valley Construction Update
Construction on the Society of Hope’s Apple Valley seniors’ housing project continues with Conroy Exteriors having completed 85% of the building’s exteriors. Weatherdek completed work on the residential areas and is now working on the exterior canopies.
Rogers Contracting Ltd has completed drywalling of the east and west stairways, and taping continues in various areas of the building. B&M Painting started painting on the fourth level of the residential areas. Century Lane has almost completed cabinet installation on the third level, while vinyl flooring installation by Ploutos Enterprises is finished on this level. As work progresses throughout the building, Scuka employees continue to work on the clean up of suites and the delivery of materials to the sub-trades.
Scuka’s APV Construction Project Takes Shape
Scuka Enterprises construction on the Society of Hope’s Apple Valley project in Kelowna for seniors has all the drywall hung in the residential suites! Roger’s Contracting has been working on a tight schedule to maintain the timeline. The bulkheads are not quite completed but they will be moving down to the amenity on the main floor to start the drywall in the common areas like the library, shared kitchen, and bowling alley. The Society of Hope is very excited about them starting the area because their new offices are on the main floor and it will be great to see it all come together.
Scuka Enterprises’ APV Construction Project Update
Scuka employees continue working on cleanup of suites and finishing details on the Benvoulin Court Construction Site for the Society of Hope in Kelowna. There is delivery of multiple materials to the development including doors, casing, cabinets, etc. and the project is a hub of activity!
Conroy Exteriors is winding down at approximately 80% complete on the exterior siding which is a colorful red and white. Weatherdek is installing the decking material and they have completed the residential areas and are now working on the exterior canopies.
Scuka’s Apple Valley Construction Project Update
Scuka Enterprises has a lot of busy employees on their Apple Valley Construction site on Benvoulin Court in Kelowna. They are working on cleaning up after flooring installation and masking finishes of countertops, floors, and doors in completed suites.
Electrical rough in by Sun Valley Electric is being done on the main floor so Society of Hope’s offices, board room, and bowling alley are starting to take shape. The sprinkler system by BTR is in progress on the main floor, as well as in the parkade below.
Kelowna Multifamily Construction Progress
Scuka Enterprises Apple Valley Seniors multifamily housing complex has been a hub of activity over the past week. Scuka employees poured the exterior retaining wall for the patios on the southeast side of the building. Conroy Exteriors completed 60% of the exterior using Hardi and vinyl siding. Weatherdek completed 90% of the patio decking.
All units on the top floor have been wired by the electricians from Sun Valley Electric. They have started working on the main level, which will include the Society of Hope’s new offices and a bowling alley! They are also installing light fixtures on one of the finished floors!
Scuka’s Apple Valley Construction Project Looking More Like “Home”
Apple Valley Senior’s housing complex will see a lot of building completions this week, as over 50% of the exterior of Scuka’s construction project has been completed by Conroy Exteriors installing the vinyl siding and Hardi-plank.
Scuka Enterprises multi-family patio decking is approximately 70% complete by Weatherdek, meanwhile HVAC and fire-taping has been completed on the third level by Valley Plumbing & Heating where fire-taping for the entire building is estimated to be complete by Thursday.
Fire caulking for the BC Housing project is ongoing, meanwhile 13 units on level five have been wired, also level four vapor barrier and insulation is complete as is half of level five.
Welcome “Society Of Hope” Staff To Scuka Enterprises Apple Valley Construction Project!!
Scuka Enterprises Apple Valley project welcomed the Society of Hope staff for a tour last week to review construction progress. The Society was reviewing and approving paint, window and door casing finishes while onsite.
The Senior’s multi-family housing project saw up to 20% of the exterior completed by Conroy Exterior’s using Hardi and vinyl siding, with almost half of the patio decking work completed for the Benvoulin structure installed by Weatherdek.
Electrical for our Scuka project was being boxed and roped by Sun Valley Electric, also the ceiling drop installation was started last week.
Doors Are Opening At Scuka Enterprises Apple Valley Construction Project!
As of last week, McGregor & Thompson was on site to deliver the deadbolts for the patios along with the doors and steel door slabs for the first floor interior of Scuka’s Apple Valley construction project in Kelowna.
The first section of footings for the patio retaining walls was poured last week up to the stair sections of our Senior’s multi-family complex.
The Scuka team was able to re-open the curb and sidewalk sections that were being worked on last week and as of today approximately forty percent of the patio decking has been completed by Weatherdek.
Busy Corner These Day’s On Springfield And Benvoulin!
Scuka Enterprises Apple Valley construction project has now had the garbage bin enclosure concrete pad poured, while KC’s Contracting & Custom Torchworks started on the membrane roofing over the future drive aisle.
The multi-family Senior’s units has Sun Valley Electric busy rough wiring the third floor residential suites.
Scuka is continuing with the fire stopping on all floors of our construction site, meanwhile Roger’s Contracting is advancing with the drywall and have been working on the first and second floor residential units.
Scuka Enterprises Apple Valley Project seeing Sidewalks And Siding!
Scuka Enterprises Apple Valley construction project on Benvoulin Court saw the sidewalk poured last Thursday.
The BC Housing’s multi-family Senior’s unit is in the process of having the siding applied which also was started on Thursday June 24th.
Sandstorm Concrete Contractor’s were on site last Wednesday prepping the exterior of Scuka’s construction project for the stucco application.
