Apple Valley Seniors Housing Construction Project In Kelowna BC
This fantastic new development will house seventy two senior residences as well as boast a six lane bowling alley and commercial space on the main floor.

Apple Valleys Seniors’ Housing is nearing completion. Scuka Enterprises reports that Conroy Exteriors has completed approximately 98% of the building’s siding. Valley Plumbing and Heating has completed around 50% of HVAC installation on all level 5 units.
Rogers Contracting Ltd has completed the taping of drywall in the office and hallway. The east and west stairways have been polished as well. polished. Drywalling in the Level 1 common area has been completed. All Level 4 units have had cabinets installed by Century Lane Kitchens.

Work continues on the Apple Valley seniors’ housing complex by Scuka Enterprises. Conroy Exteriors continues installation of the siding of the building. Rogers Contracting Ltd has taping of the east and west stairways 95% complete. They have completed 85% of the drywalling of the Level 1 common area. Installation of T-bar in the bowling alley is 70% complete. Door and casing installation is finished in 15 units on Level 5, and all units are finished for baseboards on Level 3 units. Century Lane Kitchens has completed about 75% of the cabinets on Level 4. Ploutos Enterprises has completed 75% of the vinyl flooring on Level 4.

Scuka Enterprises continues its progress on the Society of Hope’s Apple Valley project. Conroy Exteriors has completed 98% of the building’s exterior. Sun Valley Electric Ltd continues electrical roughing in of the lighting. BTR Fire Protection continues its work on sprinkler installation.
The east and west stairways are now 90% taped. Rogers Contracting Ltd has the drywalling of the Level 1 common area approximately 75% completed. The installation of the T-bar ceiling was begun in the bowling alley.
HVAC installation by Valley Plumbing and Heating continues in units on Level 4

Scuka Enterprises continues to work on cleanup of suites and the delivery of materials to sub-trades as work progresses on site.
Sun Valley Electric is working on the rough in of floor heaters and lights in residential units. Sprinkler installation is in progress on the fourth and fifth levels by BTR Fire Protection. Rogers Contracting Ltd continues with its drywall work. Taping is finished in almost all units. The bowling alley is underway. All corridors and stairwells are being worked on. Dry walling of the Level 1 common area is 45% complete.
Cabinets have been installed on the third level by Century Lane. HVAC installation was started on Level 4.

Please be advised that effective Monday, September 20th, 2010, access to the site will be closed on Benvoulin Court due to Asphalt and Sidewalk Works.
Vehicle and Delivery access to the site will be granted off Benvoulin Road.
Walk-ins only to the site are still welcome through the Benvoulin Court access.
This closure will be in effect until further notice.

Scuka Enterprises employees are busy delivering the materials to sub trades,as well as continuing to keep the suites and work site clean. Conroy Exteriors has completed approximately 95% of the building’s exteriors. Weatherdek has completed the decking. Sun Valley Electric installed the electrical on the main floor, and floor heaters on the third floor.
Work on the taping of drywall was begun on the bowling alley by Rogers Contracting. Corridors and stairwells are being taped as well. Century Lane Kitchens continued with installation of cabinets in level 3 residences, bringing them to 50% completion. Vinyl flooring is 80% complete by Ploutos Enterprises. B&M Painting applied primer to 50% of the level 4 units.

Many aspects of the Apple Valley Seniors’ Housing construction project being done by Scuka Enterprises for the Society of Hope are nearing completion. Conroy Exteriors has completed 90% of the building’s exteriors, and Weatherdek has completed all vinyl deck work as well. Electrical rough-in for the main floor is being done by Sun Valley Electric. BTR Fire Protection Ltd is continuing its work on sprinklers. Rogers Contracting Ltd has started taping the east and west stairways and several of the residential units. HVAC was finished on one level and has begun on another. Doors and casings have been installed on one level and baseboards are completed on another level. Century Lane’s cabinetry work continues on the residential levels. Vinyl flooring by Ploutos Enterprises is 50% complete in some residential areas. B&M Painting has completed the first coat on one residential level. Gyp-Crete has been poured on the final level. Forever the diligent crew, Scuka’s employees continue on the cleanup of suites, and the delivery of materials to sub-trades.

Construction on the Society of Hope’s Apple Valley seniors’ housing project continues with Conroy Exteriors having completed 85% of the building’s exteriors. Weatherdek completed work on the residential areas and is now working on the exterior canopies.
Rogers Contracting Ltd has completed drywalling of the east and west stairways, and taping continues in various areas of the building. B&M Painting started painting on the fourth level of the residential areas. Century Lane has almost completed cabinet installation on the third level, while vinyl flooring installation by Ploutos Enterprises is finished on this level. As work progresses throughout the building, Scuka employees continue to work on the clean up of suites and the delivery of materials to the sub-trades.

Scuka Enterprises construction on the Society of Hope’s Apple Valley project in Kelowna for seniors has all the drywall hung in the residential suites! Roger’s Contracting has been working on a tight schedule to maintain the timeline. The bulkheads are not quite completed but they will be moving down to the amenity on the main floor to start the drywall in the common areas like the library, shared kitchen, and bowling alley. The Society of Hope is very excited about them starting the area because their new offices are on the main floor and it will be great to see it all come together.
